Shipping
Orders will be shipped as soon as possible after payment has been verified. Unless otherwise indicated in the section headings (e.g. furniture items, hand-made jewellery), orders paid online by debit or credit card will usually be shipped within two working days: orders paid by cheque or e-cheque will not be shipped until the payment has been cleared by our bank. The customer will be notified by e-mail when an order is despatched.
UK orders will be sent via first class recorded post or other signed-for carrier service. Unless otherwise advised, delivery will normally be within seven working days, though customers should be aware that delays can occur, particularly at peak periods like Christmas. Please allow up to 28 days for your goods to arrive, except where you have been given a specific delivery date, in which case please contact us within 48 hours if your order has not been delivered as arranged.
We will do our best to accommodate customer requests regarding delivery arrangements, but where this would necessitate using a non-signed for service, please be aware that:
- we are unable to ship some products via a non-signed for service
- if we ship via standard mail at a customer's request, we do so strictly at the customer's own risk
Overseas orders up to 2kg will be sent via Airsure or International Signed For, which provides proof of delivery and an element of insurance cover for loss or damage in transit. We will ship via standard airmail if required, but strictly at the customer's own risk - anyone wishing to pursue this option should submit their order by e-mail rather than our automatic online ordering system. Orders over 2kg will be sent via Datapost or other international carrier service.
Next Day Delivery
Where next day delivery is offered, this means the next business day after an order is processed. Orders must be placed before 3 pm on a normal working day to qualify for next day delivery. Orders received outside of normal business hours will be processed on the next working day.
Returns
In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations, provided that you notify us in writing within 7 days of receipt, you may cancel your order for any reason and return the goods to us for refund or exchange. Please be aware that this right to cancel does not apply to some items, such as goods made to order; and is not applicable to purchasers outside of the UK.
If you are not happy with your purchase, you must contact Customer Services by e-mail to notify that you wish to cancel, and to obtain return instructions.
The goods must be returned unused and with swing tickets etc still attached; and preferably in their original unspoilt packaging. Until you have returned the products to us, you must keep them in your possession and take reasonable care of them. We strongly recommend that you ensure the items are properly packaged and adequately insured against loss or damage in transit, and that you return them via trackable means. You are responsible for the return postage costs.
Whilst every effort is made to maintain our high standards, we appreciate that there may be occasions when goods fail to meet expectations. Any error, omission or damage must be reported to Customer Services within forty-eight hours. The goods should then be returned as instructed for exchange or refund within seven days of delivery. If the items prove to be faulty, damaged or otherwise not as ordered, we will reimburse the postage costs.
